Interim Guidelines for DepEd’s Performance Management and Evaluation System (PMES) for Teachers in SY 2024-2025
(Resumption of RPMS for Teachers in SY 2024-2025)
1. Documents considered as MOVs or proof of demonstration and achievement of the objectives SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED TO BE ORGANIZED IN A PHYSICAL PORTFOLIO FOR SUBMISSION AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR. However, teachers are encouraged to have their own repository of teaching-learning materials and documents to facilitate accessibility and resource sharing.
2. NO PORTFOLIO FOR PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT SHALL BE COLLECTED. The MOV, as soon as available, may be rated immediately using the rubrics in the RPMS tools, without having to wait for the year-end assessment.
3. On number of required RATED Classroom observations:
Either 1 or 2 observations for the 4th quarter. For Proficient Teachers (e.g. Teachers I-III), there are 8 Classroom Observable Indicators (COls). If only 1 observation will be done, all 8 COls will be rated. If 2 observations will be done, 5 indicators will be rated per observation (with 2 COls being rated twice). Refer to the DepEd Memo for the illustration.
For Highly Proficient Teachers (e.g. Master Teachers I-IV), there are 4 COls. If only 1 observation will be done, all 4 COls will be rated. If 2 observations will be done, 3 indicators will be rated per observation (with 2 COls being rated twice). Refer to the DepEd Memo for the illustration.
